3. Fashion Jewellery & Product Care
Our range may include fashion jewellery made from or incorporating different metals, plating, stones and other materials, as specified in individual product descriptions where applicable.
Jewellery should be treated with appropriate care.
Exposure to water, perfumes, cosmetics, skincare products, chemicals, cleaning products, excessive moisture and sweat may affect the appearance or longevity of some jewellery.
Customers should follow any product specific care instructions provided by Jewel.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse or damage resulting from inappropriate care is not necessarily considered a manufacturing fault.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
4. Prices
All prices displayed on our website are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated.
The price applicable to your order will be the price displayed at the time your order is submitted, subject to correction of genuine errors where permitted by law.
Shipping charges, where applicable, will be shown during checkout.
5. Orders
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the order.
We reserve the right to cancel or decline an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
– an item is unavailable or out of stock;
– there has been an obvious pricing or website error;
– payment has not been successfully processed;
– we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or
– we are otherwise unable to fulfil the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item or order.

Products are subject to availability.
Although we endeavour to maintain accurate stock information, occasionally an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed.
If this occurs, we will contact you and, where appropriate, arrange a refund for the unavailable item or offer another option for you to consider.
7. Payment
Payment must be successfully completed using one of the payment methods available through our website.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided when placing an order.
8. Shipping
Jewel currently ships within New Zealand only.
Orders of $40 or more qualify for free standard shipping. Standard shipping for orders below $40 is $7.99.
Orders are generally dispatched within 1–2 business days, with estimated delivery generally within 2–5 business days after dispatch.

9. Returns & Exchanges
Jewel does not generally provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases.
At our discretion, certain eligible products may be accepted for exchange or store credit, subject to the requirements in our Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy.
Earrings and other piercing jewellery cannot be returned or exchanged for change-of-mind reasons due to hygiene considerations.
Clearance and Final Sale items cannot be returned, exchanged or credited for change-of-mind reasons.
These restrictions do not limit any rights or remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

10. Consumer Guarantees
Our products come with rights and guarantees that may apply under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.

11. Promotions & Discount Codes
Promotions, discounts and promotional codes may be subject to additional conditions.
Unless otherwise stated:
– promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
– only one promotional code may be used per order;
– promotions apply only during the advertised promotional period; and
– promotions are subject to product availability.
Jewel may correct or cancel a promotion where there has been a genuine error, subject to applicable law.
